Our client is a leading North American manufacturer of injection molded plastic products for the food packaging, bulk, environmental and material handling industries. Their mastery of the science of plastics combined with an impressive production capacity ensure performance and consistency of production part after part, even in the most complex projects. Since 1939, our client has offered a wide range of varied solutions or in tailor-made product development. The organization has more than 2,000 employees at manufacturing plants in Canada and the US.
Following a strategic acquisition in a US state, our client has invested in a project to increase their production capacity by more than 100% to serve local customers (Walmart, Home Depot and others). In parallel with this significant investment in production capacity, the organization had to set up a logistics organization to cope with this growth.
